Folkestone Town Council Corporate Plan

Folkestone Town Council (FTC) are asking residents and people working in Folkestone to complete a survey as part of a review of the priorities for the Town Council to deliver on over the next four years.

The Corporate Plan governs the Council’s objectives and how it delivers them - to improve the quality of life for all Folkestone residents, businesses and visitors to our town, developing and underpinning its identity. It outlines the Town Council’s mission, vision, purpose, objectives and values with targets and key performance indicators to help the Council assess progress against our shared objectives.

At the most local tier of local government, we want to hear residents views to help make Folkestone a better place to live and work.

Neighbourhood planning is a new way for communities to have a say in the future of the places where they live and work. It gives you the power to produce a plan with real legal weight that directs development in your local area. It helps you:
i) Choose where you want new homes, shops and offices to be built (including related infrastructure)
ii) Have your say on what those new buildings should look like
iii) Grant planning permission for the new buildings you want to see go ahead
