Residents who turn right from Coward Street into O’Riordan Street northbound can face significant delays at busy times, often waiting through several changes of the traffic lights for a safe gap in oncoming traffic.

Transport for NSW is currently considering improvements to the intersection of Coward and O’Riordan Streets. This provides an opportunity to improve access for local residents by introducing a dedicated right-turn signal at the intersection.

The undersigned petitioners therefore ask the Legislative Assembly to:
  • Call on the NSW Government to include a dedicated green arrow for vehicles turning right from Coward Street into O’Riordan Street heading north as part of the proposed improvements to the intersection.
