In 2014, the first version of the ESA CCI sea ice concentration (SIC) and sea ice thickness (SIT) datasets were produced based on algorithm intercomparison studies.

We have registered that you have downloaded the dataset(s), and we would like to ask you some questions about these data. We are also working towards a Sea Ice Drift (SID) data record, and would like to ask you if (and how) such data could be useful to you.

The SIC dataset includes:
- retrieval uncertainties
- status flag
- latitude, longitude

Grid: 25km x 25km EASE2 grid
Coverage: daily, year round, both hemispheres.

The SIT dataset includes:
- freeboard from Envisat RA from 2003-2012
- derived sea ice thickness
- number of measurements
- latitude, longitude

Grid: 100km x 100km EASE2 grid
Coverage: monthly, October-March, Arctic Ocean.

The SIC and SIT datasets are available for downloading from the Integrated Climate Data Center (ICDC):
