Pathway to Med School 2022 Clinical Shadowing Availability Form |
About Pathway to Med School (PTMS) and how you can help
This program is for undergraduate students, graduate students, or recent graduates who are Georgia residents, have completed 1+ pre-medicine courses, and plan to attend medical school to become a primary care physician in the state of Georgia. Only 8 students are selected to participate. Shadowing is needed from Friday, June 3rd – Tuesday, June 28th, 2022.
Hosting students for clinical shadowing means allowing the student to come and observe a “day in the life” of a physician. There is no clinical teaching that has to be done; no evaluations/grading of the students. The goal is to provide these students with an exceptional experience that will encourage them to consider primary care - show them what you love about primary care!
You will have only 1 student at a time unless you specify otherwise.
Students will be assigned for the full workday unless otherwise indicated.
We are flexible and willing to work with YOUR schedule - just let us know when YOU are available to have a student for any of the dates listed below.
