NENA Demystifying NG9-1-1 Call Flow Course

The Department of Public Safety, division of Emergency Communication Networks (DPS-ECN) is planning to bring the “NENA Demystifying NG9-1-1 Call Flow” course to Minnesota this year. This survey will help us identify the level of interest and availability for potential attendees. Please answer a few questions regarding your interest and dates and locations that you prefer.

The “NENA Demystifying NG9-1-1 Call Flow” course is an interactive, two-day course which provides a foundational and in-depth understanding of the NG9-1-1 call flow – from when a 9-1-1 call is placed until it is answered at the PSAP. Through hands-on learning activities, you will engage with real-world scenarios to reinforce key concepts. This course equips you with the knowledge needed to navigate the NG9-1-1 environment.

This is a two-day, in-person course and the credits can be used towards your ENP certification. More information can be found here: National Emergency Number Association

ECN will provide the course at no cost to participants. Course registration will be free and lunch will be provided. Travel, additional meals, and lodging are the responsibility of the course participant.
