9th Annual Prevent Suicide Wisconsin Conference
Connection: The Key to Prevention

Prevent Suicide Wisconsin and the Conference Planning Committee are accepting proposals for breakout session presentations for the 2019 Prevent Suicide Wisconsin (PSW) Conference which will take place at the Kalahari Convention Center, Wisconsin Dells, on Friday, May 3, 2019.

Session Proposal Deadline: Friday, December 7, 2018
Notification emails will be sent on or before: Friday, January 25, 2019

Proposals that align with the conference theme of connection, demonstrate evidence-based practices, enhance practical skills, support recovery, and energize people are invited to apply.

Selection will be based on the following criteria:
1. Presenter qualifications and responsiveness,
2. inclusion of the theme of connection,
3. promotion of evidence-based information/best practices,
4. integration of the experiences of communities at high/disproportionate risk of suicide (People of Color, LGBTQ+ Youth, Veterans, Men in the Middle years, etc.), and
5. the direct inclusion of presenters with lived experience of suicidality and/or suicide loss (Note: lack of presenters with lived experience will not disqualify proposal).
