PSCI Principles Review 2026 - External Consultation

This consultation has been designed to gather feedback for the PSCI Principles Review 2026. This is the fourth revision of the PSCI Principles, which will be in place from 2027.

The PSCI Principles are intended to sit above the supplier code, setting high level expectations for practice. They provide a common foundation while giving companies flexibility to integrate the expectations into their own programs and standards.
They are designed to:
- Encourage continuous improvement across global supply chains
- Remain relevant over a three‑year cycle
- Be applicable across the diversity of suppliers, geographies, and manufacturing operations represented within the industry.
If you have any questions, please contact us at info@pscinitiative.org.

How to Provide Your Feedback
To maintain consistency in the expectations that we set for Members and Suppliers, we ask that those submitting views to the consultation limit themselves to:
- A maximum of one major change (e.g. restructuring the way the Principles are organised)
- Up to three minor edits (e.g. refining sub‑topic wording or reflecting new legislative expectations)

The sections are organised as follows. Please provide comments only on Principles within your area of expertise. You may click ‘Next’ to go straight to the next section:

Page 7: Glossary of terms - The glossary included at the end of this survey accompanies the PSCI Principles and provides definitions for key terms referenced throughout. These terms are embedded across the Principles, and while the glossary may evolve as the Principles are refined, most definitions will remain broadly consistent. It has therefore been included here to support your review of the wording and ensure clarity where specific terminology is used.
