1. Introduction

Welcome to the Kirkhill and Bunchrew Energy Efficiency and Low Carbon Programme survey. This will collect information from residents interested in engaging with the Programme.

The Programme has three objectives

- Increase awareness of energy use and energy efficiency,

- Maximise uptake of subsidised and funded energy efficiency improvements and insulation deals,

- Increase awareness of renewable energy/low carbon energy solutions.

This survey collects contact details of residents interested in finding out more about these aims or engaging with the project. We will share this information with Energy Saving Scotland advice centre who will be working with us to provide information and support.

* 1. We would like to recruit volunteers to receive a free energy monitor and some tips and information about how to reduce home energy use. The monitor would be supplied for 2 months and we would welcome short feedback or comments on how the experience has helped you make energy savings. There will be a quarterly competition for the best comments and feedback.

If you are interested in taking part, please provide contact details below.

* 2. There is a range of home energy efficiency and insulation assistance and advice available to households which may be receiving income support, disability payments or other payments and support.

If you are interested in finding out more about this support and assistance and whether you would qualify, please provide contact details in the following box.

* 3. Installing domestic low carbon heating and micro generation energy systems is a way for households to reduce their exposure to rising oil and energy prices. There is also the scope to generate a regular income from renewable energy systems through a programme known as Feed In Tariffs.

If you are interested in contributing to the Renewable Energy Fair we will hold in the Autumn or would like more information on the types of systems that could be installed in your home, please provide contact details below.

* 4. If you have any questions or suggestions about the Programme, we would be delighted to receive your feedback below.
