Neurosurgery is a medical specialty that covers all the surgical aspects of nervous system diseases. Neurosurgeons face patients of various age groups, from pediatric to geriatric. This wide range of practice and continuously evolving surgical technology requires dedicated, high-level trainees and neurosurgeons to achieve the best practice. Unfortunately, Neurosurgery is not among the most considered specialties in the career plans of medical students. This survey aims to elucidate the neurosurgery perception of European medical students and to find which measures could help to improve it.
