WCASA and the Department of Corrections (DOC) are pleased to announce a series of regional training opportunities to roll out the recently revised Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) Advocacy Manual.

Attendees will:
· Receive a copy of the new manual, including the new inmate rights video developed by WCASA and DOC
· Network and problem solve with other advocates
· Learn best practices for serving incarcerated survivors
· Discuss challenging scenarios advocates may encounter while providing services to incarcerated survivors.

Note: This training is not intended to serve as a PREA “101” training.  For advocates who are wishing to learn PREA basics, we recommend you view the PREA webinar here (insert link) prior to attending one of the regional trainings.

Presented by:
Ian Henderson, Associate Director, WCASA and Leigha Weber, PREA Coordinator, WI Department of Corrections.
