Thank you for your interest in the Cyber Proud. Please complete the following application to be evaluated for career services. Cyber Proud offers a myriad of activities to help individuals secure a career in technology.
Current Programs: City of Elk Grove Career Development Program including Pre-Apprenticeship
Select One of the Following Tracks:
- Software Development: Oct 2—Nov 28, 2023, M—F, 8am—5pm
- Infrastructure Support: Oct 16 - Dec 12, 2023, M—F, 8am—5pm
- NOW ENROLLING: Cyber Security: Jan 16 - March 11, 2024, M—F, 8am—5pm
Summer Tracks Start June 2024:
- Chose from Software Development/Web Applications, Infrastructure Computer Support or Cybersecurity
Other services in this program include exam prep and voucher, mentoring, career counseling, job training and job placement, and a retention bonus. We serve all individuals: some who have a strong interest in a career in technology, some with technical training and/or college experience, and others who want hands on experience.
Our Cyber Proud team will make their best effort to match you to an appropriate program and/or service. Our career training programs do not require extensive technical experience.
Completing this application does not guarantee enrollment in the program. First, you will undergo an interview with the project manager. Your acceptance may based upon meeting qualifications and residency dependent upon grant funds. You will also be required to: have foundational IT skills, have access to a computer or laptop with Wi-Fi, and take and pass an assessment.
