Thank you for participating in the child care provider cost survey for Colorado. This survey is sponsored by the Denver Preschool Program, Raise Colorado, and the Bell Policy Center. The purpose of the survey is to better understand what it costs to provide child care in Colorado, so we can find ways to better support both providers and the children and families they serve. Once we have the results of this survey, we’ll share them with all survey participants so you can use the information to support your own program operations and decisions.
This survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete. You are under no obligation to participate, but we hope you will find participation worthwhile for both your program and the community! You may stop the survey at any time.
Data Needed To complete this survey, you may want to have the following data on hand: · Information about enrollment by age · Teacher:child ratios for each age group you serve · Your tuition rates · Number of staff you employ at different positions
Confidentiality Only researchers will have access to individual site-level data. No data that could identify you or your facility will be shared outside the research team and on any reports or presentations.
Gift Card Incentives Providers who complete this survey will have the chance to participate in a drawing for one of six $50 Walmart gift cards. You will have an opportunity to provide your contact information at the end of the survey if you wish to be entered into the drawing.
