Good Guiding Fund R6 Application Form - International

Welcome to the application process for Girlguiding Scotland's Good Guiding Fund. If your request includes funding for activities taking place in the UK, you should complete the general application form here.

The criteria and process for applying for this fund has changed. Please ensure you read the information available on our website in full before submitting an application.

The fund will open to new applications at 9am on 19 January 2026 and close at 11:59pm on 1 March 2026. This funding round is for activities happening and/or costs that will be incurred after 1 July 2026.

Please note, you can only re-apply for funding if your last Good Guiding Fund grant was offered before 19 July 2024 and you completed the associated evaluation form. Units cannot apply for both general funding and international funding in the same round.

The panel will base their decision on the information you provide in this form so please complete it as fully as possible.

The person completing the application form should be the person best placed to answer questions about the application. You should not enter someone else's contact details without their permission and without them seeing the application in full. The person named here will also be responsible for completing the evaluation form if the application is successful.

Support is available to help you apply. There are example applications on our website, where you can view the list of application questions in full. You can also contact funding@girlguiding-scot.org.uk with specific questions.
1.To be eligible for funding, your trip must have part one authorisation (as well as permission to plan) in place if an international REN form is required. This involves your REN being signed by the Scottish Chief Commissioner and Scottish International Adviser. If you do not have this authorisation in place at the time of application, your funding request will be rejected.
