The University of Queensland Art Museum (UQAM) is offering travel bursaries of up to $1000, administered by Museums & Galleries Queensland (M&G QLD), to support individuals from regional Queensland to participate in a two-day Introduction to Cultural Mediation Workshop at Rockhampton Museum of Art from 15 to 16 October 2026.
The workshop provides a unique professional development opportunity for Queensland public gallery staff and volunteers to learn from UQAM’s educators, national leaders in the specialised field of cultural mediation. This includes partnering with Creative Australia to train staff for the Australia Pavilion at the 61st International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia.
