Learning How to Best Support Grandparents and Other Relatives Raising Children During COVID-19

Grandparents and other relatives raising children are an essential resource  needed to ensure the health and well-being of our families.

The National Grandfamilies Outcome Workgroup (GrOW) includes members with specialized content knowledge and experience from across systems (child welfare, aging, public health, mental health, legal, etc) who are committed to exploring the unique issues facing grandfamilies during COVID 19. This is an important story  to explore at this time so the kinship community can better understand how to best support grandfamilies.

If you are a grandparent or other relative raising a child because the parents are unable to provide care, please take a few minutes to share with us your ideas  about how the kinship community can best support you at this time.
