Pack 357 Parent Survey - Spark Plug Award and Future Plans Question Title * 1. Who do you believe is the best representation of a volunteer who provides energy for the Pack (and/or Den) events? This person should show a high regard for the program and its values - demonstrating the traits expressed in the Scout Oath and Law. This person should also recognized as putting forth efforts that will keep the program moving forward beyond their years of involvement. Jim Arras: Jim's son is in 2nd grade and he was the Den Leader for Den 5, which has now consolidated with Den 4. Jim is always a helping hand and is a great role model for the boys. Jim enjoys having fun with the boys and that keeps them energized. Jim is involved in the Pack Committee and provides input and feedback on topics relating to the forward progress of the Pack. You will usually find Jim helping throughout activities while making sure his son and other boys have the support they need as well. Eric Brucker: Eric's son is in 4th grade and he is the Pack Advancement Coordinator. Eric ensures that the boys receive the awards that are loaded in ScoutTrack. Eric is also a key member of the Pack committee and has provided exceptional support for the Pack Trivia Night fundraisers. Eric is responsible for more than half of the donated value secured for the past three years. Eric is also involved in his den as an active parent - providing help and guidance wherever possible. Eric is also a member of the Friends of Unit 357, which supports the Pack financially, so he has a continued interest in keeping the Pack going for years to come. Amy Johnson: Amy's son is in 1st grade and she is the Tiger Den Leader. Amy has an energetic group of boys, but they did win the quietest Den competition, the last time we had that at a Pack meeting. Amy is active with the Pack Committee and is learning all she can to be able to support the Pack and her Den as they move forward in the program. She is always happy to assist wherever she can. Amy is a strong proponent of keeping Pack 357 going into the future as a benefit to her son and all the other boys in the Pack. Lynn Nance: Lynn's grandson is in 4th grade and he is an assistant Den Leader for Den 8. Lynn has been an active part of the Pack since he joined four years ago, he is not always out in front of the efforts, but you can be sure he is there for support wherever he can. Lynn provides an energetic voice to the activities for the boys and has a great enthusiasm for making the program one that the Scouts will remember. Lynn was an active leader for his son, who is the leader of Den 8, and therefore knows the benefits, firsthand, of having a strong program for the Scouts to grow and learn. Lynn's experience and thoughtfulness have helped the Pack Committee on numerous occasions. Write-In (Please share their full name and reasons why) OK Question Title * 2.
