Thank you for your interest in the CIVICUS Solidarity Fund (CSF). For this round, we are using a “flexible” application form where you have 1500 words to tell us about your proposal. It is very important that you read carefully through the CSF website to learn about the scoring criteria, eligibility guidelines and to view the work of past CSF grantees. We also recommend that you watch the 'How to Apply for the CSF' video

Please remember that we do accept general project-based proposals as well as proposals for core funding to sustain your organisation’s or your individual advocacy operations. For core funding proposals, one element of the “challenge” you are addressing would be a lack of funding to continue your daily activities. Please also note that while the CSF does not typically prioritize projects that provide humanitarian aid or pure material assistance, we are open to funding these types of projects if proposals demonstrate that the project clearly promotes civic space and sustainable change.
