1. Introducing the survey

6% of survey complete.
The purpose of this research is to develop a profile of the experiences of community based organisations participating in Public Participation Networks (PPNs) at local government level in Ireland. PPNs have been established on foot of national policy directed by the Department of the Environment, Community and Local Government as the primary means of obtaining civil society input into a range of local governance structures, including Strategic Policy Committees, Local Community Development Committees (LCDCs), Joint Policing Committees and others.

You are being asked to complete this survey in your role as a nominated contact point for your organisation which is a member of the PPN.  The survey should take no longer than 10 minutes.  By undertaking this online survey you are indicating your consent to participate in the research.

Your contribution to the research is totally anonymous and no individual organisation will be identifiable in the findings produced.  You are of course free not to answer questions contained in the survey and may terminate your participation at any time.

If you have any concerns about participating in the research you also have the right to contact the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Science Research Ethics Committee.
