PPN Community Insurance Impact Assessment

Insurance in the Community Sector

PPNs across Ireland have been hearing about the growing financial burden that rising insurance is having on the work of community groups and activities across the country. In order to respond on your behalf, we need to know the facts and have evidence about how this is affecting your work. The PPN network will present this information at national platforms on your behalf.

This survey is anonymous though excerpts from what you tell us will be shared to help inform a national response around insurance issues.

* This survey is intended to give PPNs an insight into the impact of rising insurance costs on the average group in the community sector. Please do not complete this form if you are a private enterprise or your group engages in risky activities that would naturally incur high insurance costs as this will skew the outcome.

We have had to reduce the number and range of activities that our group can undertake
Our group is in danger of stopping altogether if insurance costs continue to rise
We would be running more events and activities and benefiting our community better if insurance costs had not risen
We are very concerned at how we will fund these rising insurance costs going forward
It is very hard to find funding streams that will cover insurance costs
