The School Nutrition Association of Connecticut invites you to submit proposals for presentation consideration at its 2019 Annual Conference at Foxwoods Resort on November 15-16,2019.  SNACT is committed to aiding our State’s school nutrition professionals by providing practical solutions to school nutrition challenges, opportunities to improve current knowledge and develop new skills.

We encourage proposals that speak to our theme:
"Building our Business by Focusing on our Foundations" with Saturday in particular being focused on interactive training that provides real value for managers and line staff.

Presentation can be 45, 60 or 90 minutes in length.

Topics must be current and relevant to one of the 4 key areas of learning under USDA Professional Standards
Topics must qualify for attendee CEUs
Presentations must be interactive and engaging

Presentations are NOT to be used as a sales or promotional platform for any speaker’s company, products, or services. SNACT reserves the right to halt speakers from this practice if the situation arises during their presentation.

Presenters do not need to be SNACT members or Industry sponsors, but priority will be given to SNACT Industry Sponsors.

If the presenter plans to attend the conference only on the day of their presentation, they will be given complimentary registration only for the day of the presentation. Complimentary registration is non-transferable. Presenters who attend the full conference must register for the conference.

If the proposal is accepted and speakers plan to attend the full conference, they will receive the early bird price for their registration.

SNACT does not provide speaker fees or travel expense reimbursement for presenters unless otherwise mutually agreed upon in writing.

Presenters are expected to make their own travel arrangements unless otherwise mutually agreed upon in writing.
