Program Information

Pathways to Positive Connections is a new 2-year Social Emotional Learning Initiative, funded by the William Penn Foundation. PHMC and First Up will support Philadelphia child care and early learning programs through a continuum of services. This tiered approach will include:       
·       Tier 1 - PD webinars will cover introductory Social Emotional Learning content.
·       Tier 2 - Communities of Practice will offer peer discussions on a variety of Social Emotional topics and will be provider-interest driven.
·       Tier 3 - Coaching and PD will incorporate tools of the Pyramid Model framework to achieve the intended results.
 
Within Tier 3, there is an opportunity to participate in either the Pyramid Model single classroom approach or program-wide approach (PBIS). Each tier of participation offers an opportunity to demonstrate achievement of cross-walked Keystone STARS standards.
