Workshop: Art and Intuitive Writing (IN-PERSON)

Description: In this creative workshop, participants will explore self-expression through a simple art project, called a collage. This workshop will also give participants a chance to practice reflective writing. They will begin by selecting images that resonate with them and use those images to create a personal collage art piece.

Using the collage as inspiration, participants will be guided through a writing activity called Autolouange, a French term meaning “self-praise.” This gentle practice encourages individuals to recognize their strengths, express their truth and build confidence in their voice.

Participants will leave with:

A personal collage.
A short piece of expressive writing.
An opportunity to connect with themselves in a new way.

This workshop will be held in-person at the JUMP Scarborough Office. No previous experience is needed! However, spaces are limited.
