TSG defines a smart terminal as a new generation POS terminal equipped with a touch screen that is easily programmable and based on popular operating systems such as Android, iOS or Windows. These systems are also integrated with a wide variety of business function applications (primarily cloud-based applications). For instance, smart terminals can be equipped with accounting software to simplify payroll, data analytics tools to optimize business practices, as well as the ability to add loyalty programs and gift card processing to offer holistic customer experiences. All functionality, features, and tools must be innate within your organization’s product, meaning third-party/partner solutions should not be considered in the survey.
 
Multiple submissions for multiple products are accepted. Complete the following questionnaire by Tuesday, November 16th. Entries will be judged by a panel of TSG payments experts who focus on the smart terminal market. The winner will announced in early December.
