Background: Clinical Care Options (CCO) is planning to develop a quality improvement (QI) program for primary care practices on the topic of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).
The benefits of participating in a QI program include:
- A financial stipend paid to the participating practice
- Improvements in clinical practice operations and efficiencies
- Quality project experience to meet credentialing goals
- Data-driven and expert-guided insights
- Project administrative fees would be covered by CCO
The program will include the following:
- Clinical practices that participate in this QI initiative will be eligible to receive a financial stipend to cover data collection, scheduling logistics, coordination, etc. This stipend would not be paid to an individual; the payment would be made to a practice or an organization.
- Offering a series of approximately 5 virtual meetings over 12 months where you would engage in peer-to-peer discussions with other healthcare professionals and receive professional coaching to strengthen your leadership skills around QI.
- The accompanying education will be certified (AMA, ANCC, AAPA, ACPE) as well as ABIM MOC eligible, aligning professional growth with broader healthcare quality and reporting objectives.
