The purpose of this survey is to ascertain short and medium term CPD requirements of Member of the Psychiatric Nurses Association (PNA) Registered Psychiatric Nurses (RPNs) and Registered Nurse Intellectual Disability (RNIDs) with relevance to practitioner need, service/patient needs and regulatory requirements. The aim of this survey is to establish the CPD needs of RPNs and RNIDs who are members of the PNA. The PNA intend to support its members meet their CPD needs based on the findings of this survey.
This survey is anonymous, (please do not write your name on the questionnaire) and will be coordinated regionally through the PNA National Branch Network. It will also be available to complete on-line through the PNA web-site.
This survey was piloted and modified based on a pilot test with a convenience sample of 27 PNA Branch Officers.
