Learning Objectives:
After attending this session, participants will be able to:
1. Examine the safety and efficacy of neuraxial techniques in patients with neurological conditions during pregnancy such as idiopathic intracranial hypertension, intracranial tumors, or Chiari malformations. 2. Highlight practical considerations and approaches by neuroanesthesiologists and obstetric anesthesiologists when choosing between general and neuraxial anesthesia in managing obstetric patients with neurologic disorders.
