WSMRA 2025 Survey |
Survey Introduction
The Women’s Senior/Masters Racquetball Association (wsmra.com) is considering a few changes/updates, including possible date changes, to attract more ladies to our events. We need your input!
One of the considered venues is going to Guatemala. Since the grand opening of the ten-court Domo Complejo Deportes facility in Guatemala City, we have considered holding a WSMRA tournament there. A little background for you to answer our survey questions:
Marie Gomar and the Guatemala Racquetball Association would be our host in Guatemala—you would be able to contact her with questions and issues via WhatsApp. Year-round, the weather is a constant 72 degrees during the day and warm at night. The altitude is about 4800 feet above sea level. The hotel staff speak English and the electrical outlets are the same as the USA. The hotel is about five miles from the racquetball club. A passport is required, but no special visa is needed. No vaccination or flu testing is required. Vans will most likely be provided for transportation. Sightseeing would be offered (at least one trip) to the group; travel agent can provide more options to farther areas of the country. There is a large, active junior team that would LOVE to play with and against our ladies.
Obviously, travel can take longer than a USA event. You might incur up to two travel hotel nights, and more if you sightsee.
