Would you like to grow healthy food, celebrate community and help support recovery?

Sowing Seeds of Hope – A Community Greening  Program 

The Royal Botanic Gardens, Youth Community Greening team is encouraging young people to get gardening, growing edible plants and learning about First Nations Peoples and learning healthy eating habits. 

By providing on-going face to face support, online gardening workshops and educational modules we are looking to co-design and build youth lead community gardens in your towns.
1.Are you a early childhood centre, pre school, primary or secondary school with land to create a youth community garden?
2.Tell us about your school / centre and in general terms how the fires impacted on your community?
3.Why is the Youth Community Garden and associated workshops needed in your community? Describe how growing food can help increase resilience?
4.How will the Youth Community Garden and workshops support health and wellbeing in your community?
5.How many  students / children will be directly involved in the Garden? 

6.Describe how your group will maintain the Garden. Who will be involved?
7.It is great to have additional staff, teachers and community members involved in the garden, please list people who have indicated their interest?
