2021 PMA Convention & Annual General Meeting

Our 49th Annual Convention & AGM is being held virtually this year!

Friday, June 11th 9am - 1:30pm

Stay tuned for announcements of sessions & speakers as we develop the agenda!  There will be sessions on Effective Policy Development; Municipal Planning & Development; Virtual/Remote Work & Records Management; among other sessions.

This year's AGM & Convention will be held online & registrations will be offered BY municipality (versus individually) to increase access and affordability of the event for all municipalities.  Once you have completed the registration below, your municipality will be invoiced for the registration fee.

LONG SERVICE AWARDS
Long Service Award applications were forwarded from Government of Newfoundland & Labrador on Wednesday April 14th.

Municipal Administrator Award of Excellence (presented with the support of Cal LeGrow)  will be issued in the Member's "Convention" update Bulletin.

GRAND PRIZE DRAW
We will once again offer a GRAND PRIZE for Convention attendees. This year, again, thanks to the support of Cal LeGrow, we will have a $1000 VISA.  The draw will be made during the Annual General Meeting, and you have to be online to win! 

CONVENTION INCENTIVE PROGRAM
Stay tuned for a virtual version of our Convention Incentive Program, as we adjust to reflect the changes from an in-person to online event.

REGISTRATION FEES
$175.00 (+ HST) = $201.25
This fee will cover all registered participants from each PMA member municipality.

VOTING DELEGATES
Up to two (2) individuals per municipality are counted as FULL members.  
A FULL Member will be a Town/City Manager, Town/City Clerk, Clerk/Manager, Chief Administrative Officer, or Department Head, as appointed and approved by individual municipal councils, or a person who has broad based senior administrative, management, or executive level duties within a municipality, as approved by the Board under Article III Section 8 and 9. Only FULL members shall be entitled to vote at general and annual meetings and voting privileges will be limited to a maximum of two (2) full members from any municipality.
