Career-Focused Goals Feedback

The Ohio Department of Education and the Governor’s Office of Workforce Transformation have co-identified an initial set of key career-focused education outcomes for broader conversation and consideration by external business and industry partners. These initial targets are projected to lead to success in the workforce. Each of these indicators can play a part in a student’s graduation pathway and can serve as a critical enabler to achieving the One Goal as outlined in Each Child, Our Future. Teams at the Ohio Department of Education and the Office of Workforce Transformation have set joint targets for these education outcomes to foster improvement in the coming years. Following are targets for the 2021-2022 school year for Ohio’s K-12 education system.
