During an initial consultation, caregivers will meet with the BCBA to discuss their goal(s), provide any relevant information about their child, and have the BCBA complete a brief observation of their child. Together with the BCBA, caregivers will determine which of the following services best fits the needs of their child and their family: Caregiver Coaching or ABA Skill Building.

Caregiver Coaching

Caregiver coaching sessions allow parents to work with the Ignite team, including a BCBA and Lead ABA Therapist, twice a week for up to eight weeks. The goal of caregiver coaching is to support families in developing a goal for their child and to provide 1:1 support via videoconferencing to meet that goal. Following the initial consultation meeting, caregivers will participate in individualized coaching sessions, with the Ignite team to support them in working with their child. Each coaching session will last approximately 1.5 hours. Any required program materials will be provided to the family through contactless delivery.

ABA Skill Building

Telehealth ABA skill building sessions allow your child to receive ABA therapy via video with our Lead ABA Therapist for up to eight weeks. Following the initial consultation meeting, your child will receive ABA therapy via video with our Lead ABA Therapist or BCBA. ABA skill building sessions will last 1.5 hours and occur twice per week. Any required program materials will be provided to the family through a contactless delivery.
