Each year, hundreds of young artists come to the Worcester Art Museum to learn, explore, play, and create beautiful artworks. This fall, WAM is proud to host an exhibition celebrating the talent and creativity of our youth and teen students.
The exhibition will be displayed in WAM's Higgins Education Wing and will be free and open to the public.
Applicability: Anyone who is currently a youth/teen student at WAM, or was a youth/teen student at WAM within the past year. Artworks do not have to have been made for a WAM class; personal artwork is acceptable.
Parents and guardians submitting on behalf of young children should use their (the adults') contact information on the first part of this form, and include their child's name where it says "Artists' name (as you want it printed on the label.)"
Size: Maximum dimensions: 2D work no larger than 3’ x 3' when framed, 3D work no larger than 2'x3'x2' and 50 lbs. No multi-part artworks, such as diptychs and triptychs.
Ready to Hang: All work must be ready to hang/install with a wire, a hanging hook, or be able to be thumbtacked to the wall. STUDENTS' NAMES MUST BE PRINTED CLEARLY SOMEWHERE ON THEIR WORK FOR IDENTIFICATION.
Drop-off: Please drop off your/your child's artwork at the Studio Programs office (2405), in the Higgins Education Wing. Drop off dates are 7/20/2026 - 8/21/2026, Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. NO DROP-OFFS SATURDAYS OR SUNDAYS.
Art Pick Up: 10/5/2026 - 10/16/2026. Mon-Sat, 9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., NO PICKUPS SUNDAYS.
