TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE EVALUATION FOR THE ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN I CLASSIFICATION

The California civil service selection system is merit-based and eligibility for appointment is established through a formal examination process. The California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services examination for the Electrical Engineering Technician I consists of a training and experience evaluation and is weighted 100% of your score in this examination. It is important to complete the examination carefully and accurately. Your responses are subject to verification before appointment to a position.

Instructions:

First, list and identify all relevant experience related to the Electrical Engineering Technician I in the references section. Complete all sections for each reference; organization title, organization name, organization phone, supervisor, and dates employed. This information may be used to verify your experience listed in the training and experience evaluation.

The training and experience evaluation will ask you to refer to the reference(s) for each of the questions relating to experience. Use R1 for Reference 1 and R2 for Reference 2 and so on. You may also list "ALL" if your experience relates to all of the references.

Read each question carefully and mark the appropriate selection according to the amount of experience you have, or knowledge in the area. You must also indicate where you received this experience by listing the reference(s).

If you do not fill out the training and experience evaluation completely, do not list references for all of the experience(s) or incorrectly mark the training and experience evaluation, we will not accept your training and experience evaluation and you will NOT receive a score.
