Important information and dates:

There is one funding round and it closes 21st January 2019.

1.       Applications are assessed against the Educators SA professional learning foci and the Educators SA/Department for Education agreement priorities.

2.       Applications are not expected to address all the above but should show that they address some; this is a key part of the assessment of the applications.  Applications can also include other priorities relevant to your association and your project.

3.       If your application can’t address both the Educators SA foci and the agreement priorities this does not mean you will not be funded.

4.       It is also useful to keep in mind the Educators SA Priorities in its strategic plan. These are important for all associations so if they can be part of your application then your work could be a resource for others.

5.       Clarity about intended outcomes and how they will be achieved is critical.

6.       Being specific about the type of professional learning is also critical as it helps the panel assess what you’re doing sometimes an important intention can be lost when a generalization is used.

7.       Each Association can only submit one individual application per year.  However associations can also be part of joint applications with other associations.

8.       Associations can apply for up to $6,000.

9.       Larger amounts can be considered for joint applications (two or more associations collaborating); include in your application the reason why more than $6000 is required.

10.   For successful applications, the selection panel may award the full requested amount of a portion of the requested funding.

11.   The selection panel may require additional information at any time in assessing applications.

12.   It is a requirement that a report on the project is provided by the end of 2019.  A number of options are available for reporting as outlined further in this document.

13.   Only in exceptional cases will the same project be funded in subsequent years; this may apply where value adding can be seen.

All applications must be completed online using the survey monkey link.  Where additional information must be provided this should be forwarded by email to administration@ceasa.asn.au
