Weaving Collective

About the Group

The Weaving Collective is open to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. The group will catch-up once a month to have a yarn and weave together. An experienced weaver will host each session and moderate discussion.

All skills levels are welcome! Everyone who signs up will receive a starter kit and the host will teach everyone the basics. At each session, different techniques will also be taught to those interested in experimenting with new styles.

Note, only First Nations students currently enrolled at the University of Melbourne are eligible to participate in the collective.
