2021 GreenBuilt Home Series Application (Minor Renovation Homes) |
Tour Overview & Participation Requirements
If you are pursuing electrification or any decarb strategy in your home and would you like to be considered to participate in our home tour series or resources, please fill out this survey.
New this year, we are adding a track of minor renovation homes showcasing attainable projects attendees that are beginning their sustainability journey can take on. The goal of this track is to make sustainability and the path to zero more realistic to the range of attendees who attend the home tour.
Illinois Green Alliance's 9th annual GreenBuilt Home Series: Path to Zero will be virtual again this year! This web series showcases new construction homes that have achieved or are pursuing third-party recognition, high performing major renovation homes that have pursued substantial sustainability retrofits/features, and minor renovation homes that are beginning their journey to living efficiently and sustainably.
To build a resilient community in the face of climate change, we need to get every home on the path to net zero. The GreenBuilt Home Series is focused on leading homeowners and green professionals in this direction by providing real life examples of ways you can green your living space. Each webinar is designed to meet people where they’re at: whether a small renovation or new construction, every homeowner can find solutions during the GreenBuilt Home Series.
With the virtual format again this year, we will be limiting the homes showcased in the home series. Filling out this application does not guarantee a spot on the home series; however, there may be an opportunity to showcase your home to attendees through a short video or case study.
Application Requirements & Expectations (if selected):
There is no application fee to participate on the tour, but selected homes are required to commit to the following items to ensure a successful event for everyone involved. Failure to commit to the requirements below may result in removal from the 2021 tour.
