SURVEY INFORMATION
The LGSETA signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Enterprises at the University of Pretoria in November 2022, and research is one of the areas of collaboration. Through the MoA, the Enterprises at the University of Pretoria will be conducted field work on behalf of the LGSETA. The approval letter signed by the LGSETA is available upon request. The purpose of this survey is to gather information regarding the role played by municipal councillors in the deepening of democracy and the improvement of service delivery in the local government sector. The outcome of the research will enable the LGSETA to recommend appropriate strategies and practices for improving the effectiveness of councillors in conducting their oversight role. Your input in this regard is highly valuable and we sincerely thank you for your participation.
