Thank you for your interest in becoming an educational speaker for CRPA! The information on the following form is necessary to ensure that the committee reviewing the information has what is needed for approval of your session for CEU's if selected. If you would like to submit multiple sessions, please complete a separate survey for each topic. In the event that your session is not selected as a breakout for the conference, we may still contact you to present your topic at a different educational event.

Proposed session(s) should include information that:
  • Is relevant and practical to the field
  • Provides the opportunity to share and network with fellow professionals in the field
  • Addresses new ideas, creative problem solving, practical tools, and innovative techniques
Proposed session(s) should NOT:
  • Be a sales pitch for a specific product or service
Presentation Length: All conference breakout sessions are 1 hour in length

Deadlines for Submission: April 1, 2019 (Noficiation of your proposal's acceptance will be by May 31, 2019)

Target Audience: Conference attendees will include directors, supervisors, managers, program coordinators, administrative staff, support and frontline staff, and students from both public and private organizations in the field of parks and recreation. The audience ranges from new and part-time employees to professionals with more than 20 years of experience.

Model Training Programs: We are looking for sessions that highlight programs you can duplicate back at another department/agency! We're calling them "Model Training Programs". They incorporate elements for new and veteran employees, as well as a variety of learning formats for all types of learners—we are looking for a mix of video, team-building, and face-to-face training activities for all ages.

Submission Procedures: Sessions must be submitted using this online form. One form must be submitted for each session topic. Submissions that are faxed or mailed will not be considered. If you need assistance completing this form, please contact the committee member listed below.
