OVERVIEW

Pi Kapp College for Emerging Leaders is a transformational, six-day leadership development experience intended to empower participants to create the ideal chapter. Bringing together up to 50 undergraduate members from across the country for each session, this institute is for emerging leaders and has proven to be one of Pi Kappa Phi's most impactful programs.

Participants spend their time at Pi Kapp College for Emerging Leaders in two spaces: the Forum and their Huddles. The Forum is the large group space where all participants and faculty members come together to exchange thoughts and learn from each other. Two Lead Faculty members primarily guide the conversation during time spent in the Forum.

In addition to the large group session, students also participate in small groups, called Huddles. Huddles are led by two faculty members (one alumnus and one friend of the Fraternity). In these groups, participants make friends, cultivate brotherhood, reflect on what’s been discussed, and make meaning of each day’s curriculum.

The institute also includes a challenge course, unique subordinate rituals, and an insider look at Pi Kappa Phi's history through visits to both the Kelley A. Bergstrom Leadership Center of Pi Kappa Phi in Charlotte and the College of Charleston.
