Consultation clinics for families provide short-term support from a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) in areas such as increasing skills, transition supports, or decreasing mild maladaptive behaviours. This service is not intended for moderate to severe maladaptive behaviours (e.g. suicidal ideation, verbal or physical threats, self-injury, destruction of property, physical aggression ,etc.), children and youth with complex challenging behaviours, crisis situations resulting from the child or youth’s behaviours challenges, behaviours that are sensory in nature or behaviours that occur only at school.

The consultation clinic will include an intake over the phone, a one-hour meeting with family to discuss one area of concern and/or support, a follow up meeting to discuss strategies and a final follow up phone call or meeting to discuss progress. This service provides a short-term support for up to 4 weeks from the time of the first meeting be delivered one-on-one virtually, and will be scheduled with the participants at a time that is conducive to them.

Start as early as July 6, 2020.

To be scheduled with Therapist based on Caregiver availability. Sessions to be scheduled between July and September.
