London Hydro is looking for customers to join the upcoming London-2-London project which will incorporate Electric Vehicles.

Our goal is to capture the carbon reduction EV owners create from their decision to own an EV rather than a gas vehicle. Participants will be asked to report their kilometres driven every week and in return, will receive $50 as a credit on their bill in exchange for participating in the pilot. This credit will be distributed as $10 for registering and $40 in December once the pilot is complete.

London Hydro will provide monthly reports to customers highlighting things such as:

  • Total & average distance travelled
  • Gas avoided
  • Carbon emissions avoided
  • Total savings - based on the difference between the price of gas and an estimated charging cost
  • Total reductions of the EV community
This pilot does not require any hardware installed, but participants do need to be London Hydro customers.
