Families are looking for educational opportunities over the summer.  
Pediatric Interactions has offered groups/classes previous summers and want to know what our families are looking for this year.  Please complete this short survey by April 22 so we can begin planning and scheduling to accommodate your needs!

Lego Creators (to encourage cooperative play, communicating with peers, problem solving and fine motor skills)
Tastes and Cooking (to encourage exploration of different foods for “picky eaters” and following directions while working in a group on a yummy project)
Red, Yellow, Green Group (Zones of Regulation is a program used by many schools to help children increase awareness of their arousal/attention levels and strategies how to achieve “just right” state)
Yoga (encouraging body awareness, movement/strengthening, breath control and language for visual imagery)
"Maximizing Brain Potential" (therapists trained in MNRI techniques will help your child with "retention" of what your child learned this year and learning foundations to improve memory to support them in school next year)
Road Trip to Reading (each week your child will explore exciting “sites” and practice phonological awareness skills necessary to build strong reading skills)
Community Outings (practice skills in the “real world”, setting will be designed based on family’s requests but have previously included: restaurants, hair salon, dentist, entertainment (bowling, movie) and other places families go)
Controlling Breath and Voice for Athletes (Athletes of all ages can learn better ways to maximize their breathing to increase stamina on field, in resting and other vocal strategies to protect their voice from permanent damage)
Teaching Life Lessons through Art (partnering with Characters of Character NFP teaching life skills like being a friend, or good health, or good manners through activities and art)
Eager Explorers Group (let your child explore different textures and get messy in our home, not yours, while following a directions and interacting with peers)
Monkey Group (a “first time” preschool or great opportunity for “extended school year for children to participate in classroom type activities and routines with individual support provided as needed)
SHOW ME (a Drop-In Developmental Play Group for younger kids and their caregivers to encourage socialization, communication and to talk about other concerns/challenges in raising children)
