Additional Information

Question Title

Allergies Disclosure

If applicable, please list any allergy risks of relevance to a volunteering role with PITP.

At PITP clinics, volunteers may come into contact with products that could trigger allergies or sensitivities. These may include latex gloves, peanut butter (sometimes used to help administer medication), common pet food ingredients (e.g. fish, soy, grains), topical medications, antiseptics (like iodine or chlorhexidine), shampoos, disinfectants, and animal dander. While reasonable efforts are made to maintain a safe environment, safety is a shared responsibility. Volunteers with known allergies must always inform the clinic coordinator at the start of the clinic and take appropriate precautions to avoid or mitigate exposure to potential allergens.
