From October 2026, a new Competence and Conduct Standard will come into force for all professionals working in the social housing sector. This means that all housing providers must be able to show that their staff have the right skills, knowledge, experience, and behaviours to deliver safe and effective services.

At SW9 Community Housing, we’re already committed to providing the best possible service to our residents. As part of these new requirements, we’ll soon be launching a programme to support our staff in gaining the qualifications they need for their roles.

We are asking our residents to take a few minutes to complete our short survey on competency, professionalism, and high standards at SW9. This will help shape how we design our training programme in the coming months.
