Survey Invitation

Dear Colleague,

You are invited to participate in a research study.  The purpose of the study is to examine the education skills gap for entry-level accountants as perceived by professional accountants in practice. Your expert opinion is of great importance to the study and will help provide important information that could be used to influence accounting curricula. Information from the study will be used to establish dialogs with local universities and accounting organizations with the purpose of improving accounting graduates’ preparedness for their professional careers. This survey is an important component of my dissertation as a candidate for a doctoral degree from Wilmington University. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

In appreciation for your participation, 100 random participants will be selected to receive a $5.00 Amazon gift card. Participants will have the opportunity to include contact information after completion of the survey for the sole purpose of notifying winners. All contact information will be stored securely in accordance with Wilmington University’s Human Subjects Review Committee requirements.

Completion of the survey should take less than 10 minutes.
The information collected in the study will be kept strictly confidential, securely stored, and only available to individuals directly involved in data collection and analysis for the study. All data collected is anonymous and there will be no references made that could link you to the study. Your participation is voluntary, and you may withdraw at any point. Completion of the survey constitutes your consent to participate in the study. You may receive a copy of the completed study upon request.

Please feel free to contact the researcher or the Dissertation Committee Chair with any questions or concerns about the study:
