Welcome to PGO's 2025 Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Member Survey
Professional Geoscientists Ontario (PGO) recognizes that the lands on which we live and carry out our work are on the traditional territories of many nations of Indigenous people. As the regulator of the geoscience profession, the PGO recognizes that it serves an essential role in fostering Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) and Truth and Reconciliation in the profession. Building on the 2021 EDI survey, this voluntary survey aims to inform PGO’s efforts to increase the awareness and understanding by PGO’s registrants and system partners in equity, diversity and inclusion as it relates to PGO’s standards of professional practice and mandate of protecting the public.
Prairie Catalyst Consulting Corp, a Saskatoon-based EDI consulting company, has been engaged to administer and analyze the survey. The decision to outsource the survey was made to obtain expert independent external management of the data.
