BUDGET PROCESS Did you know...of your entire residential tax bill:* Approximately 45% is collected on behalf of the School Division. * The remaining approximately 55% is the portion we get to keep, and is used to fund all your Town Services. Yes, I knew it was an approximate 55/45 split. Yes, I knew there was a split, but didn't realize the portioning. No, I didn't really know that the taxes I pay in September didn't all go directly to the Town to fund services. OK Question Title * 16.
