National Leadership Conference Committee (event is held in Columbus, Ohio - however there are opportunities to support the planning of the event virtually)

National Advisory Council (Supports the work of the WELD National Board, strategic direction of WELD, leadership programs, etc) Additional information on this role will be shared, and follows an interview process.

Chapter Co-Chair - 2 volunteers who lead the steering committee and communicate with national leadership. They represent the chapter in the national setting and in the chapter’s community. They ensure that the chapter is planning and executing mission-focused programs on a regular basis.

Programming - this committee coordinates the chapter programs

Corporate Relations - this committee identifies various ways to attract corporate members and event sponsors along with building strong relationships with current and future corporate members. Works closely with the membership team.

Membership - this committee is responsible for member outreach and membership drives, leading the new member events, along with managing chapter volunteers

Marketing - this committee is responsible for social media postings and community calendar postings

Impact - this committee is responsible for identifying local opportunities to promote WELD’s mission via public policy initiatives and assists in the identification and review of community strategic partnerships

General Role - limited number of these roles are available. These volunteers assist the committee leads, assume ad hoc assignments and/or facilitate strong succession planning at the chapter level.

Signature Event Committee - WELD Keynote Committee (currently only offered in the Columbus chapter. This event can be considered for other chapters if there is sufficient interest)

Signature Event Committee - Women WELDing the Way Calendar Committee (currently only offered in the Columbus chapter. This can be considered for other chapters if there is sufficient interest)
