Global Majority Fundraisers Network (working name) – Shaping the Future

Introduction

The Chartered Institute of Fundraising, with volunteer Founding Members from across the third sector, are exploring the development of a new virtual-first network for UK-based fundraisers from Global Majority backgrounds.

Global Majority refers to people who are Black, Asian, Brown, mixed heritage and other racially and ethnically minoritised communities who collectively make up the majority of the world's population.

The network is being designed by fundraisers, for fundraisers, and we want your views before we decide what it should become.

Our initial focus is on how we can better attract, nurture and retain Global Majority talent within fundraising, while creating opportunities for peer support, learning and influence across the sector.

This survey should take around 5–7 minutes. Your responses will help shape the network's priorities, activities and even its name.
