Plain Language Summary is a short, easy-to-read document that explains the results of a clinical trial in everyday language. These may sometimes be called lay summaries, layperson summaries, or trial results summaries. You may find a layperson summary of results for trials conducted in the EU at
https://euclinicaltrials.eu/. Note: These are not the same as the plain language summaries of publications published in a medical journal. We want to know whether Plain Language Summaries are reaching the people who could most benefit from the information; and if so, how the information is being used. This survey is anonymous and takes about 5 to 7 minutes to complete. Your answers will directly shape how these summaries are written and shared.
